    Do Aer Lingus have plugs?

    If so what type?

There's one power socket between every two seats in economy on the A330s. There's none on the short haul A319/320/321. I'm not sure about the 757s, I've never flown on an Aer Lingus one. Business class seats have at least one power socket each.

The socket will accept normal Irish/UK and US plugs, no adapters needed.

Business class also has a USB port for charging devices

Those among us who are serious travelers will have found the single socket on the A319/320/321 fleet, not really for public use

As far as I've seen they'll basically accept US flat blades, Irish/UK rectangular pins and continental round pin.

Supply is most likely 115V rather than 230V but you might want to check the label.

Almost every laptop, tablet and phone charger will work across a range of voltages 100 to 240V 50 or 60Hz (check label on device)

    Japan 100V 50Hz (North) 60Hz (South).
    USA/Canada 120V 60Hz

230V 50Hz - Ireland, UK, all of Europe, Australia, NZ, Russia, Korea, China, India and most of Africa, most of Asia and many parts of South America.

Odd/obsolete and still in use 127V 50Hz can be found in the Caribbean and a few spots in the middle east. It's an obsolete European system that's being phased out.

What frequency is the aircraft ac power supply? Is it stable or wild?

Should be fine as it's supplied specifically for those sockets. Aircraft don't use 50Hz or 60Hz.

Haha oh you are one of those eager eyed passengers who ask can they use it to charge their phones !!
Some people are cheeky enough to ask will we take their phones/devices into the flight deck to charge! Like that would ever happen!
Also some aircraft lavatorys have a socket ;)

I'm talking about 1G, not the US socket on the top of the ovens...

I wonder can you buy an adapter to fit the hoover socket??

The Hoover may use 110 volts 400 hz so, I wouldn't plug anything into any socket on an aircraft that isn't aimed at passengers.
