    It's a pain in the butt but you can also buy puppy milk and top them up yourself if she hasn't enough milk.

    my pointer bitch had 12 and she worked them all on her own.well i gave her a hand keep putting them smaller ones on the back teeth where their is more milk.shouldnt need to bottle feed

    One of our springers when i was a kid had 13 pups , we had to help the bitch by bottle feeding some of the pups with formula, Everyone of them survived and where strong pups,we have gave pups we bred since formula and what you find is you dont end up with runts as they are all well fed.
