    This is some load of flute, failed DOE because when you jack van up , shock drops down a bit just like all the VAGS golfs etc etc . even with new ones they drop! anyone else have this issue ? have to pay retest free just because they have to use the Lift! what a ****ing rip off. another man got his van tested in a different test center SAME VAG FRONT SUSPENSION passed with No issue.

    What can I do to contest this? or is it a case of bend over Irish man!!

    Fooking fuming .:mad::mad::mad:

    Have it retested elsewhere, if they painted the supposed fault scrub it off.

    Fit new top suspension mounts and retest, fact is it's a fail item and many here will have changed them for this reason.

    Why get upset ? You have a few simple choices.
    Repair the fault.
    If there is no fault, ask the test centre why they are claiming there is a fault. when obviously you know that there is no fault.
    And if they refuse to pass the car, which as you say, clearly has no fault, then contact whoever it is that oversees the DOE centres.
    No need for any 'bending over' or ranting.

    Get it repaired and bring it back to the CVRT centre for retest...
    If you feel there's actually nothing wrong with it then get on to the CVRT section in the RSA.
    They can't issue a CRW without a valid passed test on the system though so it would need to be put through a retest either way in the same centre as the failed test... Cannot do a retest in another centre.
