Hey everyone I am trying to find out what peoples interest would be on new technologies on Farms like Drones for mapping land and taking images using different sensors.
Also in wireless soil nutrient testers to relay data to a central device. There is a lot of things out there but I would rather find out what farmers wanted rather then tell them what they need.

    Cropping point of view
Drone tech in a few years loaded with very high power cameras with software to distinguish crop from weeds and give a m2 plant count to ascess weed population tying in with economic margins and ipm.
Tech to scan Green area indexs to help with early N needs to give a full canopy.
Tech to scan crop mid canopy to get better use of N sensors and even up fields before final split at flat rate.

    Vari-rate fert/seed is here
Yield monitoring on combines, unless can go further and fit a Qtas type machine/software to monitor seed quality and help sepperate higher qualities of grain, ie pile A and B in a shed for average protein in trailer +/- 11.5%.
Soil mapping is here these things could be refined though i suppose?
Gps-auto steer is very accurate and reliable these days, unless under a tree sometimes :pac:
