Lots of restaurants and shopping in Val d'Europe and it is one stop on the train from DLP.
Eat well in the morning and if you go to a local shop for snacks and treats you can carry in your bag it will save you a fortune.
Better selection of restaurants in Disney Village rather than in main Disney parks but you will find even better value around where you are staying.

I highly recommend doing a character breakfast. You get great photos and it is so worth it. Meeting the characters can be a little hectic in the park and it is much calmer at a meal.

If you have a child who is a girl, if you buy a Disney princess dress before you go in Smyths or Tesco because all the little girls wear them about the parks but they cost €70 - €90 to buy there.

Bring wet weather clothes and expect it to be cold. I have been there twice in March. You don't mind the weather once you are ready for it.

Disney Dreams in the evening is an absolute must (fireworks show). It is just amazing. I actually cried the first time I saw it :o

If you have any other questions, fire ahead. I've been to DLP 6 times. Slight addiction.

Thanks for the reply. What time does the firework display usually start? Also would you get through both parks in 2 days. Were goin for 3 days and thinking of doing 2 days in the parks and 1 in paris. Are the restaurants/bars expensive around val deurope?

Fireworks usually start just after the parks close / around when it gets dark (approx 7pm).
1 day in Disneyland, 1 day in Disney Studios and 1 Day in Paris. If you are going mid-week it is very do-able as there won't be big queues. On a weekend it will be busier but obviously if you are just going as a couple then you can leave out the more kid friendly rides and do the more exciting stuff (but do It's a Small World) :o

I only went to the shopping centre in Val d'Europe but from what I saw around it there were plenty of restaurants and lots of price options. As I said before, much better value than inside the Disney parks.

As for Paris, it is a good while since I was there but I think you can travel easily between the main sights on the metro. The Louvre is massive so depending how into art you are you will need to plan your time accordingly (Mona Lisa is in the Denon Wing) ;) If you are anything like me, went in, had a look at her and left.
Eiffel Tower is cool to visit, the view is amazing. The Arc de Triomphe is at one end of the Champs Elysee (I think!) and then you can wander all along there looking in the fancy shops. I always though a river cruise on the Seine would be fun. Also a city sightseeing tour can be a good option because you can see all the main sights in one go.

I didn't bother booking in advance. We weren't actually going to do it, rather just see it from the ground but we figured why not when we were there. We queued for about 10 minutes which was grand. We were there quite late, around an hour before it closed and it was a weekday in March so I'm sure it's really bad on a weekend during the day in Summer but if you're there a similar time to myself, then I'd recommend doing that.

Hi guys just wondering if I buy Disneyland tickets can I just print the confirmation and use that or do I have to wait for them to be posted out?
