Millimeter Tape

    In the market for a new tape one preferably with full MM layout

    I.E 10-20-30-40-50-60 and so on

    are they hard to come by?

    Do you mean a measuring tape that is graduated in millimetres and numbered every 10mm? Common as muck I would have thought.

    Yeah. So instead of 1m or 100cm it will read 1000mm. I thought I could pick one up locally and they pretty much looked at me as if I had two heads :confused:

    Ya they seem to be a rare tape to find.

    Edit) Ok I just found out that FastCap have such tape Its called the true32 metric. I guess the only way to have it is to import it.

    i have one knocking about, picked it up yrs ago when we were kitting out a specialist tool box

    try caulfield, rs or farnell here before looking abroad
    also maybe screwfix

    Yep, everyone uses mm and can work with the standard tape. I'm not even sure exactly what the markings are on my tapes but I simply read it in mm.

    If you know anyone in Czech Poland they can get them we had a Czech fella working for us he used to bring them back all the time i hate them as i use both inch and mm
