Ive generally been an endurance rider love doing metrics however anything above 65km recently on my own is difficult. I can do group rides no bother infact I feel I could br in the front for all of it and im in the top on climb sometimes I i feel I could fall asleep or collapse over at points in the rides on my own. I also get a pain in my right leg. I have been fitted on my aero bike properly and not on commuter which is what I use as winter bike or bad weather. I consume about 200-300grams of carbs per day and on anything more than 9 min rides I have a gel every 20mins so its not bonking. I have been riding 3 years now and I do about 200km a week from commute. Any advice? I feel great on 30km rides just leg pain. Its very annoying As I know what I can do

Seems like way too much simple sugar, for 100k at 25kph that's 12 gels!

On a 150k+ solo effort, I'd usually start with a bowl of porridge in the morning, have nothing for the first couple of hours, and then maybe an energy bar or banana every 2 hours. I'd also go through 1 800ml bottle of fluids evry 2 hours, alternating water and high-5 4:1, though thinking of changing the 4:1 to a simple electrolyte to drop some calories (and hopefully some weight). Sore leg you need to get checked out, but could be either bike fit, or related to dehydration.

Actually in all seriousness it might be an idea to get some fasted blood tests done.

A gel every 20mins. Bloody hell.

If your constantly getting a pain in one leg it maybe possible that one leg is very slightly longer then the other.

for the pain in your leg and the feeling of near collapse or falling over, correct diagnosis by a medical professional is the most appropriate thing to do.. some of the advice by some of the boardsies is mental!! if someone has a pain in their elbow arse or whatever theres always a stream of ITS BIKE FIT!! -- ITS CARBS !! ---ITS PALEO there could be a thousand reasons for various things to do with cycling and injuries and in my experience it saves a lot of time and money if a correct diagnosis is made quickly.
