    Anyone here going?

First half is about feeding lambs, ewes, and marketing. Second half is mainly why I'm going flock health, performance recording (Sam Wharry NSA from NI), external parasites.

I'm going if all the BS about the weather turns out to be hype and sensationalism, will be disappointed if I cannot get.

Sams a neighbour of mine and a good man to tell it straight and how it is. He was elected chair of the NSA last week and no better man for the job, he runs a good ship, feeds no silage only straw and soya to the ewes at housing time. All scotch blackies and gets a damned good price for his aged ewes.

I like his system an awful lot, most interesting speaker by far. Running way over time we're still here!

Home again so I can type properly, not like on that phone.

I'm very interested in the straw diet at housing, by soya do you mean ration? Or am I missing something obvious by being thick from being tired :o

Houses only couples he said, and lambs the singles outdoors. That was my initial plan with the tunnel, naturally enough the reluctance of any scanner to even phone me back has put a spanner in that plan.

He had some photos of the flock up, they look like fine sheep, and in a beautiful setting too I have to say.

His entire farm philosophy is just spot on. I particularly liked the saying a friend of his had "I don't care where the money comes from, once it comes to my farm".
