My six year old Bichon has recently started getting very agitated with his genitals (or what's left of them, he's neutered!). He's humping his bed and constantly licking down there. Thank goodness he doesn't do it with other dogs or people. There's no females in heat around. I've checked and it doesn't seem to be sore or infected. It's being going on a couple of months now and seems to get getting worse. Anybody have any idea what's going on with him?

I'd be off to the vet, sounds like there is some discomfort.

Could be any number of things! Only a vet could tell you, but it definitely sounds like he's in need of going.
