Hi, I will be withdrawing from my course this week due to medical reasons, and plan to return to college through the CAO this September.

My question is, does anybody know if it is possible for me to get the full grant again from the start of the year and not just February onwards, given that I'm leaving on medical terms and not just dropping out for no reason?

You can request a waiver of the repeat study period but you will have provide evidence of your medical condition.
There may be other requirements along with this medical evidence that may allow you get some grant assistance for the full year.
You must make SUSI aware of this on your new application for September 2015.
Also make sure you de-register from college as this is when you officially leave the course.
