Windows Updates failed

Hi, This is a thing that has bugged me for a while & never got around to posting it, as Windows tries to update & then fails to update & it reconfigures itself & does the same thing again when updating itself. Below are pics:

first thing to do is check the windows update log file for clues to the source of the error.

you'll usually get a specific error that will lead you to the cause.

this will give you some more info on where to start to examine the log file and will allow you to see where things are going wrong specifically.
