Hi, trying to fit bike engine to Kart, kart had gears originally. Problem is engine will only fit facing backwards which makes the output shaft rotate in the wrong direction.

so I'm looking for some kind of, compact drop gear box/ orbital gear box that reverses the input direction. Will make one if necessary but I'm sure there's an off the shelf unit?

Out of interest why are you bothering? Almost all motorbike engines are far too heavy for karts, and you won't be allowed to use any sort of contraption like that on any track anyways.

In any case, the only way I've seen bike engines put into karts is by just running a chain of the engine sprocket to the axle, why can't you do similar, and why are you bothering with the kart gearbox?
