    I have a 94hp 4wd tractor and I'm looking to buy a slurry tanker.I was wondering whether a 1300 or a 1600 gallon would be best.Any ideas anyone?

Depends on your farm setup, if your on a hilly farm you'd struggle with a 1600 tank. The bigger the tank the better but unless you have more than a 4 bay double tank 1300 is perfect

Depends on how hilly your land is really, if its not too bad I'd go for the 1600 but either way id get one with big 28.1x26 wheels, I hear they are great on wet ground and are easy pulled. They are more expensive but from what I see but they hold there price well

If you are buying second hand the 1300 should be a buyers market, but if you are going buying new go 1600gal. But a lot depends how much work you have for it.

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

i have a 85 hp tractor and a 1300 tanker with flat ground with just a slight up hill in paddocks , i would pull my neighbours 2000 gallon on big wheels a lot easier than my own, will never buy a small tanker on small wheels again.

Just of topic but the grant due in for slurry storage etc, will that cover slurry equipment?

No, only replacement slats and agitation points outside the shed

When is that grant coming in? Would it cover rubber on the slats?
