Windows; privacy

Once heard of a film you could apply to the insides of windows for privacy but cannot find it; any help appreciated. It did not block light or seeing out jut stopped folk seeing in. Thank you

It's called contact paper for Windows or Window film paper

Ah thanks but that is not it. The kind I mean you can see out clearly... not frosted, clear.

It only works when its brighter outside than inside so its not a replacement for curtains in the evening, also bear in mind it reduces solar gain so if your windows are south facing you lose a significant amount of free heat from the sun.

Thanks; that is it and the room is not used at night. Heat loss is a worry. Will look around.. but this is a real possibility
