I currently have a Sony Xperia M, and its on its last legs after a year, and I'm thinking of the HTC.
Now, they aren't anywhere to be found in Dublin in Meteor or C.W.
I went in and chatted to a guy in a store, and belittled the HTC, and told me to get the Xperia Z3. Which has a 430euro difference in price. (obviously there's a difference!) Not happening.
I don't want another Sony. I had a HTC wildfire 2011-2013, and I loved it, and stupidly replaced it with the Sony.
I've already spent in total (between buying the Sony and repairing it) 300e, and not worth spending anymore on the things that need to be fixed, when the phone is only worth 90e.
Can someone please tell me if the HTC 510 is a good or bad buy?
I'm thinking of ordering it this week (if I can!).

Seems to be decent enough. battery is ok, 1gb ram, sd card slot.
once its not going to cost you too much no reason why you shouldnt. I dont have one by the way. just basing on some reviews etc.

    I agree about sony though;)

I looked at the 510 before and the screen is really crappy. Its a stretched low res screen and it would annoy me over time. There is also no flash for the camera. Other then that its probably OK but just not good enough for me.

I would avoid, just pick up a Moto G.

I have the 610. Does the job.
Cons are low Res screen front facing camera is woeful and mine keeps downloading loads of sports pics by itself

thanks guys for responding. I ended up getting the phone, and I don't see any 'low resolution' with the screen or anything wrong with the camera.

the only thing is I'm struggling to hold it with one hand from the width of it!
the only little fault I've noticed so far is that YouTube has a few glitches, and you've no choice not to save things for the calendar on your Gmail account.

Do you not use your gmail account for your calendar?

I don't need the calendar connected to gmail.... but there's no choice to unlink it .
