Cheapest shipping to Europe

    Looking to ship a small parcel to Estonia (<2kg).

    An Post want €37 for registered postage.

    Anyone know of cheaper shipping deals currently on offer? Thanks.

    Are you sure it qualifies as a Parcel and not a Packet? Check the dimensions on the An Post site to see if you can squeeze it into a packet size. As a parcel it's 37 Euro but the same 2KG as a packet is only €16.55 registered.

    It's a car part, so bit wary of damage if it's in a packet.

    Not sure if we're on the same wavelength here but a packet doesn't provide any less protection, the definition between the two is only the size of the box used, not the type of packing.

    What you're allowed for a packet is pretty big:
    Maximum dimensions: for a packet are a combined length, height and depth of 900mm. No individual dimension can exceed 600mm,
