hi have velo 7 computer set up on bike.
one thing I want to do is put in tire size for accuracy.

the inputs start at 26....700c increasing...... I can also enter circumference!

here is what's on side of tyre:

    wheel rim: ERO 505. 622X15 - SR2.

tyre: 23 -622/700 x23c - just gives PSI after that.

Question? In plain English?! what is if possible to tell.....is:

    TIRE SIZE
    CIRCUMFERENCE.

Its probably obvious , but , I don't see "26inch" or similar , the tyre sizes starts at 26".......I am presuming its not 23" !!

Failing that , whats the standard wheel size of a basic road bike similar to Giant Defo (2 I think mine is)

    Many thks

    Paddy

700 x 23 is your tyre size. The 700 is the "nominal" diameter of the outside of the tyre, although it varies a little depending on how wide the tyre is.

This is also known as 28".

622 is the diameter of the tyre bead (inside the rim).

The ETRO refers to the inside diameter and is relevant for wheelbuilding (specifically getting the right length spokes).
