Hi guys, we have Vokera Mynute 24SE gas boiler set between 7-8 and the thermostat on the water tank in the press set at 65 degrees. The water will reach the temperature of 35 degrees after heating it for an hour, so the water is nowhere close to be hot only warmish. Is that normal?

Do the radiators get very hot? If so you might have a hot water leak or maybe the balance valve is closed too much. A red wheel valve on the bottom pipe going into the cylinder.... Close it fully then open 1.5 turns

hi, we have two buttons, one will heat the water, the other radiators. Of course you can have them on at the same time. The radiators would be the same temperature. The plumber did open the valve 3.5 turns. Still the water will not get hot, unless you will heat it for at least 2 hours. Is it normal for a new system to heat the tank only to 35 degrees after 1 hour?

Do the rads get hot? Did your plumber bleed any air from the coil? Your coil may be blocked with something, it maybe twisted closed either

Maybe the stat is knackered, turn it up to the max maybe, or post a picture of it as it is.
There should a difference between the temp of the two pipes servicing the coil.
Turn down the boiler so as u wont get burned and feel the pipes. The return should be much cooler, if not the boiler is cutting out because the return is too hot.

Could be a busted motorised valve not opening properly, I have had a lot of calls for them recently.
But if neither the radiators nor the water is heating up fully it could also be an issue with the boiler, it might not be going into high-fire, or a blocked filter, or failing pump.
