Kickboxing, Boxercise classes in Swords

    Hi

Looking for classes in the Swords and surrounding areas that would be more about the fitness training rather than competition training in any sort of martial arts. I used to do a class outside Dublin like boxercise but it also involved kickboxing with heavy bags and tough training, but there was no sparing, etc.

I have injuries that would not hold up with sparing, and it is more about the fitness and mobility while also working on some kinds of fighting techniques. Not looking to ever compete.

Anyone know of any classes like this around.

    flyefit boxing is dire.
I train in flyefit and I've seen the class - its' grand for exercise but any combat skills (i know you don't want sparring) is extremely limited.
anybody thinking that class gave him any boxing skills would be in for a rude awakening should they try to fight their way of a paper bag.

There are loads of martial arts in xtremefitness - in airside too but not sure how involved the sparring is.

Haha. Yeah I know what you mean about those classes. People think they are learning how to fight! I don't want sparring but I still wanna feel like I am learning something (techniques, etc.). I was doing MMA for a while but couldn't stay at it due to long term injuries and I couldn't commit to a hard training regime. 2-3days a week is sufficient for me and not every day in order to train to compete.

I have looked into xtremefitness, and just waiting on their timetable to be updated as their website is undergoing maintenance, and I will go down and have a look at some classes. I think that would be pretty much like what I done before so It might be too much for me.

Anyone actually know of anywhere else in surrounding areas such as malahide, portmarnock, santry, etc. anywhere where I could reach on 1 bus within 15-20mins.

Their Fb page is updated regularily - I'd say that's a better bet than the webpage - plus the FB has contact details.
