Found an amazing deal from Oslo to Aqaba in Jordan for this price return with Novair. Departing January 29th and coming back on 5th of February. One of the "Wonders of the World" are in Aqaba. Only €67 return to Oslo Rygge with Ryanair. A real bargain!

Since I have under 50 posts I cannot link it but it is on secretflying :)

Looking at Ryanair you can fly to Oslo Rygge (a different airport) on those dates for €67 return. Looking at it now, flying with Ryanair on the 29th won't work, as the flight with Ryanair leaves after 1PM, while the flight to Jordan leaves at 6:35. It would be better if you got to Oslo the day before or something.

Norwegian Air actually has some great deals, prices like Oslo to New York return for €280 return are sometimes possible. The only thing is there are two different airports in Oslo and a taxi between them is gonna cost a lot, probably at least €60 but possibly more. If you have to stay overnight in Oslo then you'll do well to find a decent 3 star hotel for under €100.

I had a mess around with Ryanair to Oslo and Oslo to NY combinations a few months ago and despite finding Oslo-NY return tickets for under €300 no matter what way I looked at it the transfer and the extra hours spent on the ground in Oslo just weren't worth it for the saving over getting a decent price from Dublin direct.

All that said the offer in the OP is superb value to get to Jordan if you can find Ryanair flights to match up. Going to Oslo is a bit one step back and two forward but that wont bother some.

Another way of getting to the Middle East on the cheap is getting to Istanbul from where you can link into a few budget airlines networks, www.flydubai.com would be one and www.airarabia.com another. Once you're in the region flights are dirt cheap as the aviation fuel locally is some of the cheapest in the world
