Is there such a thing.... any links.

Am in a workshop all day on Saturdays and just wanted to have music playing in background thru wifi.... but want to avoid ads. Preferably some sort of 'oldie' station / easy listening / type of stuff.

    Just throwing it out there!!!

It costs money to broadcast. If they have no ads, they'll make 0 money, so somebody would have to fund it just out of goodness of their heart.

    So, I dont think so.

RTE Gold (on Digital) is what you want.
There is also 2XM or Pulse - but the DJ's aren't great on it and is full of bangin' beats.

Other idea would be cable/satellite for a bit of Smooth/Jazz/Classic/Heart FM.

How about Spotify? It's not completely ad free if you don't go for the paid version but the ad breaks aren't as lengthy as a radio station's.
