Leave a job for another job after 6 months?

    Hi,

I am currently working a large reputable company in a smaller city than Dublin, fixed term contract and been here nearly 6 months but the only satisfaction are the people I go for lunch with and the hours. It isn't the worst but I do the jobs no one else wants to do and it is dead end although I am doing lots, it will be the same thing even if I get made permanent.

Would it be better to move to Dublin which is more expensive but to a newer company with a better position?

I just don't want to let the people I am working for down after all the training they have put me through and they will be left stuck as it is so busy!

Dont worry. Everyone knows that people come and go. Just explain your reasons to people you feel close to, sure they will understand

Look after Number 1. Nobody else will.

What loyalty have you to them after only six months?
