    Hi all

apologies if this has been posted before .

Does anybody know everything that maintenance covers .Interested to know if medical in particular is covered ( perscritions and gp visit) but I think it would be good to have a list for everyone for reference .

    Thanks
    Metz

It doesn't matter what you spend on the child - it will go by how much the other parent can afford to give.

If the other parent is on the dole, minimum wage, in debt, self-employed on a rollercoaster income... the courts will assign an amount they see fit. There is no minimum amount. I know someone just getting €40 per month.

But if the other parent is loaded, got good income, or fully willing to pay - then yes: medical expenses, childcare, school expenses, food and clothing will be taken into consideration.
