There's a couple of 9 hole (par 3) courses a short taxi ride away.
We had planned to go out one day we were there, unfortunately while one of our alarms went off for the wake up call we were still drinking in the bar of the Cosmopolitan!

Durango Hills GC was where we booked (18 hole GC), $180 for a four ball, $20 club rental.

Played there about three years ago. Decent courses, really enjoyed them, the three were wolf creek, wolf mountain and las Vegas national. Also a Callaway driving range near the strip, flood lit short course. Though the courses are longer, the ball flies longer out there too. Easy to get to with car hire..

I noticed the ball flew way further over there too. Club down is good advice.
