I'm looking the purchasing a house sometime soon-ish. A few I've been interested in have stains like you see in the picture. I know the pic isn't great, but I reckon it'll be obvious to some of you.

Is it mould? Can it be fixed? A lot of the houses in that area have it...so it appears to be a design issue or something to do with the bricks.

Very curious so hope you can provide some info!

From that distance it looks like efflorescence possibly being washed down from the render above. You might be able to brush it off with a stiff brush or use a remover but it's likely to eventually reappear over time.

It should come off with a power washer.

Simple Brick Cleaner will remove this without any problem. Just brush it on leave a little while 15 min or so and brush and hose off. You need to protect your eyes as it an acid. So make sure to follow instructions carefully. You should get it in any Builders suppliers.

Looks like limescale to me. Comes out through bricks. Get some brick cleaner or hose it off like previous posters said.
