This cooker was working perfect - but yesterday when using the hob - it tripped the fuse board. And now when I switch it on - it immediately trips the fuse board. It is 5 or 6 years old - got an electrician to look at it but he could see nothing wrong. Any idea if it can be fixed or does it need to be replaced. Thanks

If there was a spillage it possibly got into the regulators and that's causing the trip, you could try just running the oven for a few hours so the heat from the oven can dry out the hob.

I cannot run the oven as if I currently turn on the cooker it immediate trips the fuse board...- so will not heat...

try removing the knobs and use a hairdryer to heat it.
