What level do they play at? Senior, intermediate or junior? And what sort of standard is it at?

Is it far out from the city? They're a senior team yeah?

If you're moving to Renmore then St. James would be the local team ya. They are Senior and would have a few Junior teams also.

Just moved to Doughiska and would like to play for a club that has both football and hurling. My own club was Senior Football and Hurling was Junior?

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks

I think your best bet would be Salthill who are a senior football club and junior hurling club. They also have junior football side.

Salthill is across the city, and might be troublesome if for no other reason than commuting for training. Oranmore probably the nearest, out along the coast road, or St. James, based in Renmore. Not sure what city boundary rules are like but a club outside your catchment area may have problems registering you as a new player as, strictly speaking, the club within your area has 'first claim' on you. (They could subsequently lodge an objection at a Board meeting.)

Going to Salthill from Doughiska?? Not wise. Plenty of closer clubs, St. James' and Oranmore being the main two. Castlegar for hurling is also a good bit closer. Going to Salthill from Doughiska at any busy time throughout the day would have your head melted, especially if it's for anything less than senior.
