    Hi

We are currently planning to build a new house. I'm thinking of OFCH, stove in fireplace for heating purposes. My wife is keen on getting a rayburn or aga range (solid fuel or oil) for the kitchen for cooking purposes only. Has anyone got one just for this purpose and I'd like to know running costs (i.e. litres of oil used/ amount of coal/sticks annually) and is it worth it. Looking at refurbished ones for 2,500 to 3,000 euros

    thanks

would love to know more information on AGA/ rayburn type stoves?
are they for on-the-spot cooking or are they for long slow cooking?
Do they run on oil or how do they work

Hi Firebird in Cork do range cookers both solid fuel and oil- the oil model can also do your heating and hot water as well they're worth a look.
