Only commented to someone on the day I think I lost em that I'd had them four years and they were my favourite possession :o

Anyway, I'm going to have to get a replacement set but the only thing I didn't like about them was that they don't fully cover the ears.

Any suggestions for cans around the same price/quality level but with full ear cups? Usage is mostly for hooking up to PC's at work/home and the phone while commuting

okay, i had a look around and the type of listening you do i would recommend these http://www.thomann.de/ie/audio_technica_ath_m50_x.htm

they are over the ear, which is nice, and also sealed so minimal sound leakage, price isn't excessive either. reviews are excellent and you might be able to get them in one of the music shops in town, music maker or something, for around the same price as thomann.de if you are brave enough to haggle. have fun.
