Best 4k Monitors

It's approaching time I upgraded my Dell 2407 1080p CCFL monitor from 2006(!). In fairness it is still a terrific monitor and has served me well through many laptops, desktops and games consoles. But using the retina display on my MBP I'm finding it hard hooking it up to the old monitor as there is a bit of difference!

What do you guys see as the top 4k monitors on the market atm?

I would mainly use it as an extended desktop for the MBP so display port 1.2 ports would be necessary for 4k/60Hz. I have a gaming desktop that I built a couple of years ago that doesn't get much use but I would like the option of using it via DVI/HDMI if I wanted. Also I anticipate getting a PS4 at some point in the future so a HDMI for that also. I'd rather have a lot of these ports to save constantly swapping cables that I have to do for this one.

Ideally I'd like a monitor with built in speakers also...not too common I know.

Size wise, 24" would be my sweet spot. Good specs like colour/contrast and more importantly low response time are important aswell. Budget is circa €1k.

    Any ideas?
