I am currently in australia, I want to buy a tablet as it's frustrating doing all my browsing on my Samsung s4. If I purchase the Samsung galaxy S tab here, will I be able use it at home as if I bought it in Ireland? I don't want to buy it and discover it's useless or not 100% efficient once I go home? Are there any downsides to purchasing one hee or should I just wait until I get home in 6 months?

Theres no reason why it wouldn't work perfectly when you got back home to Ireland.

The warranty will not be valid for use over here however, as Samsung only transfer warranties if bought within the EU.
