holiday for couples

    Hi All

    Could anybody recommend a good resort to travel for a couples holiday.
    I am mainly looking to go and chill out in the sun.
    I like lounging by a quiet pool all day, my gf would like the option of a beach the odd day.

    Somewhere with a nice selection of restaurants for dinner and possibly a few semi lively pubs/clubs if we decide to have a night out.

    Basically I want a chilled out holiday with the option of a night out if possible.

    Budget would be 1000 for the 2 of us but I could spend more if I had to.
