A good motorway run will surely help the morning of the test along with the dipetane. The engine was probably not up to operating temp the morning of the test.

I remember when not first came out my sisters car failed on emissions. Anyway she went back to her garage and they tested it and said it was within limits. They recommended 'driving it hard and revving the **it out of it' on the way to the re test.

It worked but not sure if that is the proper technical or mechanical solution

Had car in today drove it in third and forth gear hard up the motorway for 20 mins before test car PASSED!!!emissions were 0.00% vol on high and low idle I'm sure the diptane helped too that I put in 10 days before test very happy and no mechanic involved easy fix
