Connect LG G2 to TV HMDI?

    Hi folks,

Well I've spent the last hour looking through reviews and checking online shops but the reports are often US centric and inconclusive... ie. Some people swearing by a product and others saying it's a dud in equal measure!?

Thought it would be safest to come on here and ask for a recommendation of what to buy and where exactly.

Just want to hook up my LG G2 to a LG TV over HDMI.

Am Kit Kat 4.4.2 moving to Lollipop ASAP (does this matter? Ie should I hold off!?)

    Tks ;)

What's the TV model? If it supports Miracast, you can do it wirelessly from your G2.

Alternatively, you can use a €30 Chromecast and mirror your screen.

Hey thanks for getting back to me, much appreciated.

TV is about 3 years old but doesn't have miracast unfortunately.

How do people rate chromecast? I heard it was a bit laggy and occasionally buggy? Still not quite there in terms off settled tech?

+1 on the chromecast. Other half got me one for xmas & i haven't stopped using it. Ive a g3 & use "all cast" to stream showbox & anything else from my phone as well as mirroring the phone for internet browsing etc..

Also very good in that it has "supported apps" like netflix & youtube and ive never once experienced laggyness or glitches.

Been recommending it to anyone that'll listen 😊
Edit : all cast costs €3 from play store but well worth it in my opinion
