Other Channels on Sky with No Skycard

    Have sky+ box, all set up...Got rid of all channels and little cousin broke the sky card as i silly let him play with it!!

    Can i still watch other channels, i.e bbc 1 wales etc without the card

    They are gone off the system at the minute

    If its a sly Hd box you will need a card to be able to view them. An old one will also let you view them.

    take the sky card, unplug the sky box, then plug it again

    or get a FreesatHD+ box so you can record freesat channels like bbc1 wales
    I think the only thing I recorded on that channels was 'hinterland', 6 months before it appeared on bbc4 through my freesat+ box

    I have an old sky box on the TV in the spare room, which has no card in it either.

    Will that box work for BBC wales etc...

    If its an old grey one or white one it will give you all the Uk regions. of the BBC without the need for a card

    How did he break the card? Can you not mend it? Sellotape?

    Hew broke in in half...has been thrown out now
