    Two words...

    Free publicity.

Everyone will flock to the Ryanair website to check it out.

Yeah I think that mistake could have been made very easily. I'm fairly sure only an aviation enthusiast with knowledge of that very jet looked like would have spotted it was EI-DVM.

To anyone else and the person who took that image, I think the fact it wasn't half green was enough to tell them it wasn't an Aer Lingus jet.

Maybe you're right...perhaps a stroke of genius that EI have unwittingly fallen for

    Aer Lingus and everyone else.

Think about all the followers they have on Twitter, Facebook and everywhere else they shared it alone?

Plus not too mention all the media who are trying to take the piss.

I'd love too see the statistics of how many people went onto the Ryanair website today alone compared to the previous week or so.

Judging by the lack of humour on the FR twitter feed I would guess it was a mistake.....am surprised they didn't respond better.

That's what I meant by lack of humour....they just sounded catty.

CityJet then joined in with "can I play too" tweet

When did they repaint EI-DVM? It's a pity they didn't keep her in the retro livery.

Thinking about it, it's some coincidence this happening a day or two after EI poking fun at Stansted and having 'banter' on Twitter with CityJet....

These were snapped about 2 weeks ago and I seen her again on Tuesday just gone, she's still in retro colours
