    Try this

    http://www.competitivecyclist.com/Store/catalog/fitCalculatorBike.jsp

There's loads of other sites with Bike fitting advice, charts and calculators. Google it.

If you're buying from a shop ask their advice too.

The majority of bikes are sized in CM, for your height I'd imagine a 54cm bike would be ideal.

I am also 5 10 and I have always run with a 56cm bike. It really depends on the bike the OP is buying though.

Ok as has been said it's CM and not inch.

It really all depends on your body proportions. It's not as simple as some make out i.e. 5' 10" (in old money) should ride a 54. I'm 185 for example and I ride a 55 or 56 pending on the make. Now many would say for someone of 185 55 is on the small side however when you factor in the rest of the bike, the top tube a 58 bike tends to have a top tube that's too long for my upper body proportion. This of course can be somewhat counteracted by a shorter stem but that affects steering and for steering and positional reasons I like a 120 stem.

So use the size guide as a rough ball park and try one of two bikes to get the best idea of fit and comfort.
