Grants/Entitlements Over 40

Am just turned 40 with no farming qualifications and hoping to take on family farm part time over the next year or so. Question is are the entitlements my father currently has belong to him or the farm ? Ie if I was taking on the farm can I claim the benefits or is that all linked back to green cert etc.
