Im leaving nz in a couple of months and I bought a new bike while here. Its a hyosung gt250p and I want to bring it back on freight. Any idea how much this will cost?
    Cheers

How long is a piece of string?
Your best to contact some freight companies and get quotes. I cant imagine it would be cheap.
It will probably take some time to transport it. You will then have to pay VRT on it to register it here once it arrives.
Would you not better/cheaper to sell it over there and buy something when you come back to Ireland?

Not if there's financing left on it

Being perfectly honest, its a waste of time.
If you want to bring back any kind of bike it would want to be one that has resale value here.
I am thinking of models that are not imported into Europe like the Suzuki GS1200SS but are sought after.
Freight costs are more than the Hyosung are worth.

Sell the bike over there and clear the finance?
As CJH said, it could end up costing you a lot more than the value of the bike/outstanding finance to try and ship it here

Am i assuming you are going to pull a runner and not pay the finance?

Either way its not an expensive bike so you are probably gona spend more shipping it than its worth.
If youre gona skip out on the finance then you might as well just strip the bike down and sell it for parts and leave the country.

I'd definitely say sell it there and buy something similar here - way less hassle and it will cost you less.

This thread sounds dodgy from the start. IMHO, ppl should stop giving advice here.
