upc horizon box

    Hi Everyone,
    Im hoping to find a solution on this, I was supplied with a UPC Horizon Box and a UPC thomson Router Modem at the same time,

    Coax cable from UPC wall box through a splitter, to Horizon box and Separate Thomson Router Modem. The Thomson router works fine but i could not get the proper WIFI speed (actual 50-70Mbps) that i subscribed even laptop is optimized and just 2 meters away from the modem, as i connect a LAN cable over it i get 200-220mbps.

    NOW I wanna get rid of the Thomson modem as its taking the remaining space on the PC table and want to use my UPC Horizon Box as it is a standalone unit with WIFI and LAN. but the problems are:

    1. i want to check Horizon box settings but i cannot log into "gwlogin.net"(Your requested domain is either in installation process, or parked on this site." or on 192.168.192.1 using the Thomson Modem Router (where i have a connection)

    so i decided to switch of the Router modem and see how can i get on with the Horizon Box,

    2. i plugged a LAN cable behind the Horizon box and to a PC, i couldnt get a LAN connection and WIFI established as iam expecting it would work straight away without a fuzz. the problem could be around the settings or channels but unfortunately I couldnt log in to check it.

    I dont have issues with the PC aswell as it was configured, optimized for speed.

    Any suggestions guys..?
