There was a great thread running for a few years. Can't remember why it got locked, but there was probably a good reason at the time! http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055341704

I've seen several spots under €1.30 a litre around town.

1.28 for Petrol at Applegreen Coonagh. I think I saw it for 1.26 at Topaz Roxboro yesterday

126.9 at Inver /Fairgreen Service Station.
127.9 slightly further out the Ballysimon Road too (at the spot that used to be the most expensive station in the country at one stage on the boom years!)

124.8 at Amber on the Old Cork Rd

Generally if you are looking for the cheapest petrol you should also price a new fuel pump.

Petrol prices are there or there abouts the same in reputable stations.

124.9 a few days ago in Ballyneety (Inver).

Its the same price if not maybe €1.22.9 in Centra in newcastle west. Applegreen being €1.22.8. I actually think I get great mileage out of the Applegreen unleaded from that station and no mechanical issues to report (I say that because a lot of people seem to be of the opinion it is substandard fuel)

To top it off lads, Centra in NCW are doing 10c off a litre once you spend €50 in there. Max 60 litres. So basically, fill up once, they give you a voucher, and then you come back to fill up again and you get 10c off.

Petrol? I've seen diesel at that price but petrol under 1.20 - wow.

Yes petrol. I filled up at the weekend. Noticed that it's gone back up to 121.1 this afternoon though.
