Have Humax HD Freesat box - regular box

Only have 1 connection from Satellite dish to it

TV has Mpeg 4 tuner so have Saorview from that

How to record, what do I need to record programmes? I want to be able to record one and watch another.

Thanks for all help in advance

The box must have two LNB inputs and the inbuilt ability to record internally to hard drive to a external hardrive.

Two LNB cables inputs are required to watch one channel and record another.

Google your Humax box model and it will tell it's specs.

    Hope this helps

With a Humax HDR, you can watch 1, record another with only 1 feed, but you'll only get full flexibility with 2, so the other channel you want to watch mightn't always be available. Seems the OP only has a HD. (No Recording.)

Also OP, post the make & model of your TV.
