Tomorrow mornings forecast for gusts up to 130kmh in Dublin Airport possible - any implications for outbound traffic at midday? Just looking at the possibility of delays from DUB - CDG with City Jet

just retrieved the latest TAF, I'm pretty sure max gusts from previous one was 45, now this is attached to EIDW = TEMPO 1513/1518 23030G55KT=

    so tomorrow from 13.00 to 18.00 gusts at 55kt or 102 kmh (28 m/s)

EIME is reporting 59kt, it's pretty bad here, but ATR's are still taking off so you should be grand even if it gets worse, that is - if the plane arrives inbound on time

I flew into Dublin on Sunday. It was pretty lively then.

I arrived this evening (Thursday 15th) at 1920 on an E170, completely oblivious to all these. It felt just like a normal approach and landing, nothing unusual! Either the winds had died down completely or the BA pilots (or Embraer control systems!!) are superb! I suspect the former.

I believe most of the disruption today was 1100-1400. Saw 3 go-rounds just after 1200 myself.

I flew in on Wednesday 14th at 22.30, as we came up the Irish Sea the feeling was like being in a boat with the waves coming from the side, not jerky, but more a gentle lifting of the plane. We then had to circle as Mr Pilot said they were waiting for a change of runways to take effect. (from Zurich with EI )

    🧐IMHO, God wants us all to ENJOY many,many ice-creams , 🍦🍦🍦🍦🍦🍦🍦🍦🍦🍦🍦🍦
