Sorry, typical forum reply, but you sure you want sprint bars? Most of us use road bars for the endurance events. Sprint bars too deep.

Its a fair point. I took out my spacers after talking to DaveOBrien and after getting a few comments about sitting up like a sail, looking to comfortable etc. Even though I felt like I was pushing it.

Maybe I am approaching it wrong but any pics I seen of myself, I was still fairly upright in the drops and was trying to test where I could comfortably drop too. IT feels like I could comfortably go down at least an inch and stretch to three for short periods.

One of the lads, who lurks around here, said he had a set that he would give me earlier in the season last year and I stupidly said I was OK, wish I had given them a try now as I don't want to invest to much in them in case, as you say, the road bars are fine and there are other issues to address.

You'll still need something that won't catch your arms out I the saddle/standing starts. Wanna borrow my criterium a and see how you get on. I've picked up second hand Pro Vibes, though they're a bit wider than I'd like.

Still have them if you want them, fished them out of the shed last night.
