Drained my aunites tank to for her new bath and now there's no hot water or even cold water all over the house. She has 4 toilets in the house and only one is filling normal and one takes ages to fill.

I know this is a common problem after draining the tank, its an air blockage but if I remember correctly, isn't it just as simple as connecting a hose pipe from mains fed tap to the hot water tap or is it because its both air locked, I have to put hose over hot and cold tap together.

Another thing, my toilet in my own house after flushing is still a qtr full and takes awhile to fill again. Is it just a case of fitting a new siphon dome in cistern.
