Anyone install a GSM Relay to turn on heat in holiday home?

    Looking at this as a stand alone idea rather than integrated into an alarm upgrade.
    Are they just on off so are they wired to bypass the time clock.
    Have looked at the Climax offering but don't like the annual fee.

    A standard gsm relay switch which you can ring or text the unit to latch the relay in turn switching on your heating are only about €150 plus installation. The same unit can keep the installed sim active by sending you a monthly text with the status of the system 😊

    Just rang a few suppliers in the UK and they all said signal quality is paramount.
    They all have had issues with poor sig quality here in Ireland
