Possibly starting a new job, finished the last job in Sept 14' and was given a P45. As far as I know that P45 is redundant and it's no longer useful as it's a new tax year?

If so do I just apply for a Certificate of Tax Credits if it comes round to it?

Get the company number from HR/payroll, ring the tax office with that and your PPSN. They will issue your tax credits etc through P2C to your employer.
