horn working intermittently on 407 hdi 1.6 what are likely causes more importantly how to fix . Is it a garage job ?

The contacts for the horn are under the drivers airbag on the steering wheel so it maybe worth popping off the airbag and cleaning the contacts/connections and see if that helps,
Just remember to disconnect the battery before you go at the airbag.

Row is spot on. I remember having to do this myself and it sorted the problem. I think my left side still worked but the right was faulty.
