Help with new TV

    Hi,

Just bought a Samsung 60 inch TV. Model number is UE60H6200.

I have a 8 way Coaxial splitter connected to my sky box which I then split into the bedrooms, kitchen etc and have a sky eye in each location.

So I have plugged the Coaxial cable and sky eye into the new TV but I cannot get a picture from the sky box. It worked 100% on the old 42 inch TV and is still working on all of the other TVs in the house but I cant get anything on the new TV no matter what input I select.

I am well used to wiring Cat 5/6 for comms, coaxial satellite systems and sound systems but I cant figure out what I am doing wrong with this new TV.

    Ideas?

    Have you tried tuning it?

I think the Sky output is analogue.

When I set up my sony which had freeview in it once hooked up to the aerial and dish searched for the channels then did an additional search for the digital channels. But you've probably done that already.

As ritefully stated earlier, if you are sending the Sky box around the house on coax cable then you will need to tune the analog tuner ....best to probably auto-tune.

If you have a saorview aerial also connected to the skybox it will tune in the Saorview channels which will be shown by DTV usually on the top left when u change channels.

I usually advise people to use the program up and down keys. Goto 1 on dtv and then press channel down and it will usually go back to the analog tuner which will show ATV in the top corner....

Thanks lads, I have auto tuned it alright and it came back with 1 Analog channel but I cant seem to find it.

The TV has inbuilt Saorview and I can see RTE 1, RTE 2, TV3 etc but I cant seem to get Sky.

Should I change the output, I doubt it?
