Agghh how much tax..or what are the implications

    Hi there,

    If a married couple have one income of say 75 k (the man is employed) and the wife decides she wants to start childminding, what would the implications be for them with tax etc.?

    My mother is trying to decided if it would be worth her time minding one child 5 days a week, which would bring in €850 per month.

    This is probably an obvious question...but I really struggle with this stuff.

    Really appreciate your help folks.
